Brain Break Exercises

So many people have told me they don’t have time for exercise. I want to squash that myth and present you with a challenge.

Every morning, choose one of the 6 activities listed below and complete 50 reps each day for 30 days. Break it up into manageable chunks - 10 sets of 5 for example. Share a photo of you completing these exercises and let me know how you feel.

On day 1 I did 50 press-ups: 5 after my morning shower, 10 after breakfast, 10 while cooking lunch, 10 with my children after school, 10 while cooking dinner, 5 while my tea was brewing. I did most of them from my knees but my goal is to complete all 50 from my toes.

Tomorrow I’m going to attempt ‘High Knees’, which I imagine is going to test my cardio strength.

All forms of exercise are great. Developing a regular exercise routine that suits your fitness style will increase your energy, improve your mind-set, and help make physical activity enjoyable and sustainable.
